  3. echo          The first thing you should do, as with all computer
  4. echo     software, is to make a back-up copy of this disk and put the
  5. echo     original away.  Use the copy as your installation work disk.
  6. echo     (Refer to your DOS operational manual if you need help in
  7. echo     copying a disk).
  8. echo          If you are unfamiliar with DOS commands and do
  9. echo     everything using Windows, go to the next section titled
  10. echo     Installing From Windows.
  11. echo                         INSTALLING FROM DOS
  12. echo                         -------------------
  13. echo     (1)  Boot-up your computer and place the program disk in
  14. echo     the floppy drive.  At the system prompt type:
  15. echo                              A:INSTALL
  16. echo     then press the (enter) key (whereas A should be the letter of
  17. echo     the floppy drive containing the program disk).
  18. echo     (2)  The default program directory is C:\PERBIO45 - press the
  19. echo     (enter) key to confirm this directory is okay, or edit the
  20. echo     name to a directory of your choice, then press (enter).

  23. echo     (3)  If directory does not exist, program will ask if okay to
  24. echo     create this directory (y/n)?  Confirm okay by pressing the Y
  25. echo     key and pressing (enter).
  26. echo     (4)  The program files will now be transferred to your hard
  27. echo     drive, then a notice will appear that Personal Biorhythm 4.5
  28. echo     is now installed.
  29. echo     (5)  Press the (ESC) key to exit the install program.
  30. echo     (6)  Remove the floppy disk from the computer.
  31. echo     (7)  DOS prompt will show name of directory where program has
  32. echo     been installed.  To run program now, type GO and press
  33. echo     (enter).
  34. echo     (8)  To run program later, at the DOS prompt type CD\PERBIO45
  35. echo     and press (enter), then at the C:\PERBIO45 prompt type PB and
  36. echo     press (enter).

  39. echo      INSTALLING FROM WINDOWS 3.0, 3.1, OR 3.11 FOR WORKGROUPS
  40. echo      --------------------------------------------------------
  41. echo     (1)  Place the install disk in the floppy drive.
  42. echo     (2)  Start MicroSoft Windows.
  43. echo     (3)  If any windows are open, close all windows except the
  44. echo     PROGRAM MANAGER window.
  45. echo     (4)  Single click your mouse on FILE (in the upper left
  46. echo     corner of the PROGRAM MANAGER window).
  47. echo     (5)  Single click on NEW.
  48. echo     (6)  The PROGRAM GROUP button should be highlighted and the
  49. echo     words PROGRAM GROUP should be selected.  (If not, click on
  50. echo     PROGRAM GROUP).
  51. echo     (7)  Single click on OK.
  52. echo     (8)  Under DESCRIPTION, type in Personal Biorhythm 4.5.
  53. echo     (9)  Single click OK.  You should now see an open window
  54. echo     with the title "Personal Biorhythm 4.5."
  55. echo     (10) Leave this new window open and single click you mouse
  56. echo     on FILE on the PROGRAM MANAGER window.
  57. echo     (11) Single click on RUN.

  60. echo     (12) Under COMMAND LINE, type in A:\INSTALL (whereas "A"
  61. echo     should be the letter of the floppy drive where the Personal
  62. echo     Biorhythm disk is located.
  63. echo     (13) Single click your mouse on OK.
  64. echo     (14) The default program directory is C:\PERBIO45 - press the
  65. echo     (enter) key to confirm this directory is okay, or edit the

  82. echo     (23) Press the TAB key on your keyboard.
  83. echo     (24) Under COMMAND LINE type in PB.BAT then press the TAB
  84. echo     key.
  85. echo     (25) Under WORKING DIRECTORY type in C:\PERBIO45 (whereas "C"
  86. echo     should be the correct letter of your hard drive, and PERBIO45
  87. echo     should be the correct name of the directory (if you did not
  88. echo     use the default directory during the install).
  89. echo     (26) Single click on OK.
  90. echo     (27) An ICON for Personal Biorhythm 4.5 has now been placed
  91. echo     inside the open window.
  92. echo     (28) To run the program, double click on the PERSONAL BIORHYTHM
  93. echo     4.5 icon.
  94. echo          Please remove your installation disk from the floppy
  95. echo     drive and store it safely with your other program disks.
